Overview
Twenty years ago, Mike started attending tech meetups while pursuing a new career in software development. The connections and support he found there helped kickstart his career. Today, he organizes a Word Press meetup, has led several Word Camps, is an engineering leader at Nexcess, and is the lead maintainer of Gather Press. Much of what he does now is about creating the same opportunities for others that community gave him.
